Typical Kelly-RC game with JJK giving the Eagles plenty of help (don't know why we have history of being flat with these guys). 2 TDs called back, 4 turnovers, 3 personal foul flags..etc,but considering that the kids were coming off bye week,and dealing with the off-field situation,we'll surely take the win. Tribe took a knee at the Rye Cove 1 to end the game (really like when we do that-liked it at PH earlier this year,and liked it tonight). I thought the defense played pretty well,especially with the spots we put em in. No doubt with the stretch run coming,we'll have to be better than tonight,but awfully glad to see the kids get the win,and proud of them.

J.J. Kelly 29, Rye Cove 14
J.J. Kelly?s Brandon Osborne ran for 200 yards and entered paydirt three times as the Indians ran all over Rye Cove.
Rye Cove got touchdowns from Zach Wilson off a 16-yard pass from Chase Rollins and added a 2-yard run Patrick Fritz, but Kelly racked up 452 yards rushing as a team to secure the win.

A friend of mine was there and sending me messages. He basically said what you said. It sounded really ugly, but sometimes you have those. I was kind of shocked at the halftime score though.

Kelly tried a few new wrinkles in the first half that didn't quite pan out. Osborne also had a 60+ yard TD called back on a holding penalty (couldn't see one on film but what I can see doesn't matter). McGuiness also had a TD called back and we made it down to the 3 yard line as time expired in the first half. Offensive line looked good and the defense played well considering we were missing quite a few players. Still an overall ugly game but we will get it cleaned up before the stretch run.
(If I seem a little bias, I have a kid that plays for the Tribe)
It was a hard couple of weeks for all of these boys. Alot on all of there minds.
I will say this the refs are going to be quick to throw the flag on us the rest of the year. Just something the boys will have deal with.
